Sign for Stanford Sierra Camp
On April 30-May 3, 2020, the Stanford School of Engineering will host its second Stanford Engineering Sierra Camp Weekend at Stanford Sierra Camp, located on Fallen Leaf Lake, near Lake Tahoe. The weekend will provide a wonderful opportunity for connecting with other Stanford Engineering supporters, learning from each other and from engineering faculty, and enjoying ample time for fun on or near the lake.

What is Stanford Sierra Camp?

Stanford Sierra Camp is a Stanford alumni family camp just outside South Lake Tahoe. Off-season the camp functions as the Stanford Sierra Conference Center, taking advantage of the peaceful ambiance and serene setting to offer academic, social, and corporate groups a variety of programs, featuring a relaxing natural environment, comfortable meeting rooms, delicious meals, a helpful staff, and fun outdoor activities.


Where is Stanford Sierra Camp?

Stanford Sierra Camp sits at 6,377 feet on the southern shore of sparkling Fallen Leaf Lake near Desolation Wilderness in the Lake Tahoe Basin. Brisk fresh air, glistening cobalt-blue water, the smell of pines and a twinkling night sky frame the picture for one magnificent, memorable experience for your family.

The weekend provides great opportunities to spend quality time with your family and friends. From faculty talks to guided hikes, boat cruises and archery to wine and cheese socials, there is something for everyone.

Lodging & Dining

Main lodge in the evening

Accommodations consist of 12 single rooms in the main lodge and 52 two- and three-bedroom cabins scattered through the forest, each with private bath. Meals are served buffet style in the main lodge.

Rates

Floor tile detail at Stanford Sierra Camp

Rates include three nights' lodging, meals from Thursday dinner to Sunday brunch and activities. Children age two and under stay free. Applicable taxes, personal expenses and staff gratuities are not included.
